I grew up, for the most part, in Nepean ON (Ottawa) and moved to Toronto to attend the new media program at Ryerson University. I have lived in Toronto for the last eleven years. I spent a few years working at a design company and now work as a freelance designer and illustrator. I also teach in remote communities in the arctic a couple times a year as an instructor for NTEP (Nunavut Teacher Education Program). I am hoping to get my 'Ungulates' painting series up somewhere in Toronto soon. I am also working on a short sci-fi post-apocalyptic film about Belleville ON.
When I lived in Belleville (age 3 to 5) there was a pack of feral dogs who used to wander the neighbourhood. Every kid should grow up with a pack of feral dogs nearby. |
